Driven by an early interest in conducting, Alex pursued this passion ardently throughout his undergraduate years. His dedication culminated in roles with the New York Youth Symphony, Bay Youth Symphony, and Old Dominion University Symphony Orchestras
Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, Alex expanded his repertoire significantly, conducting a range of compositions from Schubert to Copland, each performance a milestone that exceeded typical undergraduate achievements. His standout moment came when he was entrusted with preparing and conducting the ODUSO for ODU Theatre’s production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, a responsibility typically reserved for graduate students. Alex's meticulous preparation and insightful adjustments between performances earned him the admiration of both peers and mentors alike.
